Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex is one of the highly popular tourist attractions in Shimla. Located right in the middle of the bustling Mall Road which is the most attractive tourist spot in Shimla, Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex is a Gothic Victorian style theatre designed by famous architect Henry Irwin which also happens to be the oldest cultural complexes in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Over the decades, the complex has been subjected to improvement at different stages. This culminated in the partial destruction of the original structure, but the Gaiety theatre remained untouched.

History

Bringing a lot of excitement is the Victorian Theatre, where greats like K.L Sehgal, Raj Kapoor and Prithvi Rudyard Kipling have performed. Owing to such a legacy of this theatre, the Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Shimla.
